About the Bay Colony Brass Youth Program
The Bay Colony Brass Youth Program provides talented high school brass musicians with the opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians and receive mentorship from some of the region’s finest brass players. Our 2025 program winners were Gwendolyn Jackson (Weston High School) on trumpet and Ryan Poras (Newton North High School) on tuba.
We are extremely grateful for support for this initial year of our Youth Program from the Billerica, Newton, Sherborn, Wayland, Weston and Westford Cultural Councils.
